I grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. I obtained a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. I then attended Harvard University where I worked with Prof. Ramesh Narayan on my PhD thesis, which focused on Super-Eddington accretion and tidal disruption events. I obtained my PhD in Astrophysics from Harvard University in 2022.Â
My research interests are primarily tidal disruption events, black hole accretion physics, and relativistic jets. I presently manage the GRMHD code, KORAL, along with Dr. Andrew Chael. I am also a user of the GPU accelerated GRMHD code, H-AMR.Â
I also started the Center for Astrophysics Chess Club at Harvard University in 2021. The club has continued even after my departure, so if you are ever at the CfA, try to visit them if you are a chess player.
